PROJECT GOALS Marketing of Orbit Shifters & Shift Enablers
Cognizant academy has batches containing exceptionally hard working and talented students. They are digilant and diciplined in their work. Such batches are called Orbit Shifters and Shift Enablers. We felt that their hard work prior to joining must not go unnoticed or unrewarded. So, this project, proposed by our manager, aimed at creating an animation video to market the idea of such batches and to highlight such talent.
Step 1 The Script
The first step to making this animation video possible was to write down a script that would have a storyline highlighting all the key factors of a trainees' journey pre and post Joining, and also the main features of "Early Engagement". Early Engagement is a learning portal available to joinees pre-joining.
Step 2 The Storyboard
According to the script, I hand-sketched the storyboard, a total of twenty three panels of scenes that were to be traced and animated.
Step 3 Characters and Color Schemes
The heart of any story is its characters and the color schemes used in the story that would keep the viewer immersed in the video
Step 4 Tracing
Now comes the most importatnt and time taking part of the task. TRACING. All the twenty-two scenes we properly traced in layers, ready to be animated.
Step 5 The Animation
The traced scenes were properly Animated according to the storyline requirements. The animation was then ready to tell the world its story.
TECHNOLOGY STACK TOOLS TO BRING THE PROJECT TO LIFE
The softwares being used for this project were: Adobe Illustrator CC, for character design and Adobe Flash, for tracing and animating the scenes.
